Makes & Models is proud to present this right-hand-drive UK-market 1999 Alpina B3 3.3 sedan finished in Fern Green Metallic over Light Beige Montana Leather. Originally sold new in the United Kingdom, this B3 was imported to Florida in 2024. Powering the B3 is a modified version of BMW’s S52 inline-six, enlarged to 3.3 liters with an increased bore, longer stroke, lightweight pistons, and a bespoke crankshaft. The cylinder head was reworked, and Alpina fitted its own exhaust manifold, producing 280 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque from the factory. Power is sent through a Switch-Tronic five-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
Unique to the B3 are Alpina’s signature striping, front lip, and rear spoiler. Exterior equipment includes a power-operated sunroof, fog lights, twin exhaust outlets, and Park Distance Control sensors. Inside, the Light Beige Montana leather remains soft and well-kept, accented by Alpina embroidery and ZHP-style trim. Features include manually adjustable heated front seats, automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with two-tone stitching. Overhead, Alpina’s build plaque, number 160, sits on the console.
In April 2025, the suspension and braking systems were refreshed with Bilstein B8 dampers, Eibach springs, polyurethane-bushed control arms, and new tie rods, lower arms, rear ball joints, wheel bearings, sway-bar links, and strut mounts. The parking brake shoes were replaced, and braking was upgraded with Brembo calipers from a 125i, M3-spec rotors, and braided stainless-steel lines. In July 2025, BMW of Murray serviced the oil, replaced the oil pan gasket and motor mounts, and refreshed the power steering fluid. In October, the vacuum pump was replaced.
With extensive recent service, the owner’s manual, and a clean title and Carfax, this rare Alpina B3 3.3 is ready for its next home.
