1978 Porsche 911 Super Carrera

Makes & Models is proud to present this unique 1978 Porsche 911 Super Carrera. Originally delivered in Guards Red this 911 Targa was eventually converted into a cabriolet under prior ownership. This vehicle is powered by Porsche's 3.0 Flat Six with a 5-speed manual transaxle. The cabin is finished in mixed cork leather and vinyl with a matching dash, door panels, and carpets. The factory head unit was upgraded with a Kenwood CD player, and updated speakers. In October of 2018 this vehicle underwent $7,500 in maintenance including a valve adjustment, air box pop off valve, belts, hoses, ignition components, shift linkage bushings, and a brake fluid flush. In October of 2023 an additional $5,400 in maintenance was performed. This included a brake fluid flush, new camshaft oil supply lines, new wipers, new throttle linkage bushings, front trunk struts, and a new climate control blower fan.
